Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the iOS app SnapPrint3D (“App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

SnapPrint3D helps you create printable 3D content from a photo, including:

• AI Mesh — third-party image-to-3D generation (subject to availability and quotas).
• Lithophane — on-device relief / lithophane-style mesh generation.
• Handoff — export and system share of files (e.g. STL) so you can open them in apps such as Bambu Handy to slice and print.

Important: Handoff is not Direct Print. The App does not claim to push jobs directly to a 3D printer. Print quality depends on your printer, filament, slicer settings, and model geometry.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use / Apple Media Services Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer (except where prohibited restrictions are disallowed by law), rent, or sublicense the App.

3. Accounts

• Certain features require Sign in with Apple.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure.
• Development-only bypass sign-in must not appear in App Store production builds and is not a consumer feature.

4. Subscriptions, Credits & Purchases

The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and consumable credit packs via Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID.

• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage / cancel. Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions (or Apple’s subscription management page).
• Trial / intro pricing. If offered, unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where allowed by Apple rules.
• Credits. Credit packs (if offered) are consumed for eligible generations and are generally non-transferable.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.
• Price changes. Prices may change; Apple will notify you as required.

Generations (especially AI Mesh) may be rate-limited. Entitlements may be tracked locally on device in the current MVP and tied to your signed-in identity.

5. Your Content & Rights

• You retain rights to photos you provide, subject to rights needed for us and processors to provide the Service.
• You represent you have all rights needed to use the photos (including likenesses) and to send them to third-party AI processors when you choose AI Mesh.
• You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
• Output meshes are provided for personal / lawful use; you are responsible for how you print and distribute them.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may depend on Apple, Meshy (AI Mesh), Umeng (optional analytics), Bambu Handy / other apps you open via share sheet, and network connectivity. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policies, or print results in other apps.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt services.
• Use the App to infringe IP or privacy rights, or to create unlawful weapons or other prohibited items under applicable law.
• Misrepresent the App as providing Direct Print or guaranteed printable / safe models.
• Circumvent generation quotas, payments, or security controls.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, branding, UI, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. Apple, Bambu Lab, Meshy, Umeng, and other marks belong to their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that meshes are manifold, printable, accurate, or safe for any particular use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR PRINT MATERIALS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP FEATURES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF GREATER IS REQUIRED BY LAW, THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

13. Apple-Required Terms

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• In the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the App purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims).
• In case of third-party IP infringement claims relating to the App, we (not Apple) are responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge as required.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• You represent you are not in a country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a state sponsor of terrorism, and are not listed on any U.S. prohibited parties list.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence still apply where they cannot be waived. Courts of Hong Kong shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rights.
